The Woods families' Woodstead Farm and stallion owners Fran and Ron Stolich announced in early November that prominent Washington stallion You and I, who will be 20 in 2011, has been pensioned from stud duty.

The Grade I winning son of Kris S. out of the Peruvian champion sprinter La Chaposa (Per), by Ups, has sired 42 stakes horses in his first 12 crops.  Among the best of his 18 stakes winners were Scandinavian champion In the Woods, Peruvian Champion Marimer, 2005 Washington Champion Two Year Old Colt Schoolin You, five time Grade I winner and $2.1 million earner You,  and Ron Crockett's Grade II winner Harvard Avenue.  You and I, who has sired the earners of over $18 million, has $407,074 in 2010 earning, which include the efforts of 3 stakes placed runners.

You and I originally entered stud in kentucky in 1996.  He also stood in California before serving his first season in Washington in 2006.  You and I, who is to be pensioned at Woodstead Farms, is the dam sire of 4 stakes winners in 2010.
